In 2006 Alitrans has obtained by the Customs Authority the license  to operate under the "warehouses of type C" through the establishment of a:

CUSTOMS WAREHOUSE

The warehouse allows the storage of non-Community goods at foreign status. Such goods are not subject to import duties, VAT and any other charges which may be set for their release for free circulation. The length of time goods under the customs warehouse is not subject to any limitation.

FISCAL DEPOSIT – VAT (Value Added Tax)

Allows the introduction, transfer, processing and storage of domestic goods and community without immediate payment of VAT.
The V.A.T. will be paid at the time of sale through self-billing. 
The use of such custom procedure, providing economic operators with attractive facilities: simplifies the transit trade, enable at any time to export the stored goods abroad, or alternatively sale in the country at the most advantageous conditions. This system allows you to make the  purchases at the best price or to sell when the market demand is more favorable. 
This particular service joins other specialized services that our company offers.

PS:  Service available for all kind of goods  including dangerous goods. Only perishable goods are excluded.
